With a background in education, analytics, and problem-solving, I’ve grown into a well-rounded data professional who’s passionate about using data to drive impact. I hold a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science, and I’ve always been drawn to the logic and creativity of tech.
Teaching early in my career strengthened my communication skills, while my work in program evaluation and analysis helped me build a solid foundation in modern data tools for analysis, visualization, and warehousing.
For me, how I work with people matters just as much as the work itself. I’m someone who communicates clearly, listens well, and makes an effort to understand different perspectives. I really enjoy working with others, whether that means collaborating on a project, helping explain something technical in a more approachable way, or just jumping in to support where it’s needed.
I’m organized and dependable, but also flexible when things shift (which they often do). I like taking initiative, staying proactive, and keeping things moving without losing sight of the big picture. At the same time, I’m always open to feedback and believe learning from others is one of the best parts of any job.
Overall, I try to bring empathy, curiosity, and accountability into every interaction. I care about doing meaningful work, but I also care about the people I’m doing it with, and that’s a big part of what motivates me day to day.
Outside of work, I’m someone who really values continuous learning and staying mentally engaged. I love reading, especially dystopian novels. They give me a lot to think about in terms of systems, human behavior, and problem-solving under pressure, which oddly parallels some of the challenges I enjoy in data work.
I also spend time on personal coding projects where I can experiment with new tools or ideas that I don’t always get to explore on the job. DIY projects are another outlet for me. They let me build or fix things with my hands, which is really satisfying in a different way.
Yoga is my go-to for recharging and staying grounded, and I’ve always had a thing for logic puzzles or strategy games. They keep my problem-solving skills sharp and give me a fun mental challenge outside of the workday.
Overall, I’m someone who likes to stay curious, keep learning, and find ways to grow. I’m always open whether it’s through tech, creativity, or simply trying something new.
